- National Diploma in the relevant discipline with a minimum of Lower Credit from Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic or any recognized
- Evidence of one-year relevant post National Diploma (ND) Students’ Industrial Works Experience Scheme(SIWES).

Entry Requirement
Applicants must possess five (5) Credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level or SSCE or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent at not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics and three (3) other subjects in Arts or Science relevant to the programme.
Applicants must obtain at least one (1) credit pass from any of the following: Further Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Physics, Chemistry, Technical Drawing,
Building Construction, Woodwork, Concreting, Carpentry, Plumbing and Pipe Fitting,
Geography, Basic Electronics/ Basic Electricity or Economics.

Applicants must possess at least a credit pass in any one (1) of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Economics/Geography, Biology, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Woodwork or Basic Electronics/ Basic Electricity.

Applicants must satisfy all requirements for admission into the National Diploma Program in the relevant program/Department of choice.

5. PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
- Professional Diploma in Safety and Security Management
- Professional Diploma in Occupational Health and Environmental Risk Management
Duration: Six (6) Months.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must possess GCE ‘O’ Level or SSCE or WAEC or NECO or NTC or NABTEB or its equivalent with three (3) credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings, including English Language and Mathematics and any Arts or Science subject relevant to program of choice.
Note: Admission into the National Diploma Programs is open to candidates who sat and passed the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination for 2022/2023 session, scored 120 points and above and satisfies the minimum UTME cut off point for specific programs.
Applicants may be required to undertake a screening exercise. Applicants will be notified of the date and venue of the screening exercise where applicable.
Candidates who did not choose Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic Rumuola, Port Harcourt may also apply as there are very limited opportunities for admissions into the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma Programmes for 2022/2023 Academic year. Such candidates are required to effect change of choice of Institution through Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) by making the Polytechnic/Institution their first choice.
