The University of Ibadan’s Postgraduate College administers the program, which is housed in the university’s Department of Bioethics and Medical Humanities.
The training will take place over two (2) academic sessions and will be mostly hybrid online with some in-person activities.
Requirements for Eligibility and Admission:
a) The candidate should be a mid-level academic or non-academic staff member who is highly driven and scholarly.
b) He or she will be required to apply for the University of Ibadan’s MSc program through the Postgraduate College portal for the following academic session.
c) Applicants for admission to the MSc. (Bioethics) program must have a Medical Degree Certificate from the University of Ibadan or from another university approved by the University Senate.
OR
d) Graduates of the University of Ibadan or other universities recognized by the Senate with a strong honours degree in any allied education, humanities, or science area.
e) For matriculation, all candidates must meet the University of Ibadan’s basic and higher degree requirements.
Members of the University’s academic and non-academic personnel who match the conditions outlined above are encouraged to apply.

]]>Online Final Clearance Procedure for LASU Postgraduate Graduating Students
Procedures for completing postgraduate graduating student clearance on the online eClearance portal
Postgraduate graduating students should be aware that registration and enrollment in the Alumni program is a requirement for final clearance.
For Alumni registration, go to https://csc.lasu.edu.ng/lasualumni/.
Navigate to https://www.lasu.edu.ng. Click *PG-GCS* or *PG-GCS* under the “Student” menu. Go to https://www.lasu.edu.ng/pg-gcs/.
Select “Pre-Registration.”
Fill out the required fields before clicking the “Verify” button.
Following the completion of Step 2, the system displays your information as well as any other required fields.
Return to the login screen (https://www.lasu.edu.ng/pg-gcs).
Select “Begin Clearance.”
Choose “Student Category” and enter your “Matriculation Number.” Once your information has been displayed, confirm it by clicking the “Submit” button.
When you complete Step 6, you will receive an email with a link and an activation pin. Keep in mind that the same pin will be required during the clearance process.
In your email, click the activation link. Fill in your Matriculation Number and Pin on the activation page, then click the “Activate” button.
On a successful activation, you will be required to create a password to secure your clearance dashboard. Click the submit button to save your password.
You’ll be redirected to the “Login” page on success of *Step 9* in which students will be required to fill in their matriculation number and password. Then Click the “sign in” button.
The dashboard shows the clearance application progression displayed in the order of precedence.
Click the “Clearance” link at the left-side of the navigation menu to start clearance.
Students should note that the clearance process follows the order of precedence stated below:

On the clearance page, fill in the required details (Uploading of passport, uploading your signature etc.) and click the “Submit” button.
On approval/rejection of your clearance, you will be notified on your dashboard and via email. Once a stage has been approved, proceed to the next stage inline. Do this up-to the last stage of the clearance (Internal Audit Clearance).
Once all clearance stages have been passed and approved, click the “Print Clearance” link situated at the left-side navigation menu to download your fully approved clearance report.

Please visit http://lasu.edu.ng/epaymentto pay a non-refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) via e-payment in order to access the application form You must fill out the form, upload your credentials, and submit it online before being invited for screening if you are qualified.
A thirty thousand naira (N30,000.00) acceptance fee and a twenty thousand naira (N20,000.00) medical fee must be paid immediately.

The Vice Chancellor has approved the immediate deployment of the LACACA application for all PG students admitted in the 2020/2021 Academic Session as part of the PG school’s processes, with an emphasis on the need to confirm the authenticity of documents on which students were admitted.
As a result, all Post Graduate students will be required to upload the following documents to the PG portal for further action by the PG School’s Admissions Unit:
O level outcomes
B.Sc. and M.Sc. Degree Certificates/Statement of Result O’LEVEL scratch card information, Birth certificate
Certificate of Discharge from NYSC
Scanned Signature on a PG Admission Letter
The portal was launched on Monday, April 18, 2022, and will close on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.
Affected To activate their clearance, postgraduate students should go to www.lasu.edu.ng and click on PG-LACACA.
Students will receive an email notification on the progress of the clearance process and as such, only cleared students will be able to print their clearance Certificate.
Note that only cleared students will be enrolled into the Postgraduate School Result Processing Portal.

Under the “Student” menu, click LASUES MopUp Exam or Visit https://www.lasu.edu.ng/lasues-mopup/
Enter your matriculation number on the Login page and then click the Submit button.
3. After completing step 1, click “make payment” to pay for the MopUp Exams.
4. Return to the login page and log in again after a successful payment (as in step 1)
5. The LASUES Student Details Dashboard contains information about students as well as outstanding courses (s). Check that the information displayed about you is correct, and then click the “take examination” button.
6. Navigate to the Examination Portal and select “Exam Docket.”
7. Enter your matriculation number in the provided box and press the submit button.
On the left-hand side of the dashboard, click the “Start Exam” icon.
10. Carefully read the requirements and instructions. To begin the exam, enter your examination pin in the provided field and click the “Proceed button.”
11. On the “Start Exam” page, lists of available student outstanding course(s) and their status (already sat for or Pending) are displayed. To register for the chosen exam, click “take exam.”

Three (3) credits and two (2) passes at O’level WASSC or NECO in not more than two sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science and any other two subjects.
PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN HEALTH INFORMATION MGT
Five credits in O’level at not more than two sittings at the SSCE/WASSC or its equivalent. The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Physics or Chemistry and any other subject.
HND HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
National Diploma (ND) in H.I.M with a minimum of lower credit.
Health Record Technician Certificate with a minimum of lower credit and five (5) O’level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology or Health Science in either WAEC/NECO at not more than two sittings.
Candidates must have completed one year of industrial attachment. Those with ND with an initial JAMB score of 150 are not required to write JAMB. However, candidates without ND certificates are required to have a JAMB score of 160 and above.
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
Five (5) credits at not more than two (2) sittings in WASSC/SSCE/GCE/NECO in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Requires WASSC/SSCE/GCE/NECO – Four-credit passes in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry with at least a pass in Physics. (Results more than ten years as the date of this registration will be rejected by the Registration Board).
Holders of Medical Lab. An assistant certificate with the above O’level.
