The school fees for Accountancy at the UNN for the current academic year is as follows :

  • Freshers = ₦114,550
  • Level 200 = ₦96,650
  • Level 300 = ₦74,000

Admission Requirements into UNN Accountancy

UNN offers two primary entry modes:

  • JAMB UTME Entry:

This is for students who wrote JAMB, the standard entry mode for students with the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), or their equivalents.

 

O’Level Admission Requirements

Candidates for admission into the Department of Accountancy must have obtained a credit pass in

  1. English Language,
  2. Mathematics,
  3. Physics
  4. Chemistry and
  5. Any of Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further. Mathematics, etc in not more than two sittings.

 

  • Direct Entry:

  • To qualify for Direct Entry into Accounting in UNN, you must have a minimum of five (5) credits in your O’Level results, which can be from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB. These credits must include English Language and Mathematics.
  • Your O’level must not exceed two sittings.
  • Be at least 16 years of age at the time of admission.

 

JAMB Subject Combination For UNN Accountancy

For the UTME exams, you’ll need to select the following subjects:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics,
  • Government
  • Economics

 

JAMB Cut-Off Mark for UNN Accountancy:

UNN has a general UTME cut-off mark for all courses, typically ranging between 160 – 200.

However, for competitive courses like Accountancy, achieving the minimum cut-off may not guarantee admission.

In most cases, a significantly higher score (often exceeding 200) is necessary to be considered for the next stage.
