]]>Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman, Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, has advised students to avoid distractions and remain committed to their academic pursuits as they prepare for the 2021/2022 first semester examinations, which will begin on Monday, May 16th, 2022.
Dr. Usman provided the advice during an emergency meeting of the institution’s Academic Board on Thursday, May 12, 2022. He stated that the Polytechnic administration was committed to creating a conducive teaching and learning environment for both staff and students.
He went on to say that students’ good academic performance is a direct result of their dedication and hard work achieved in a conducive learning environment created by the Institution.
As a result, he urged students to be diligent in their studies and graduate on time.
He bemoaned the high rate of student withdrawal from the institution, which he attributed primarily to poor academic performance.
The most recent instance, he recalled, was the Academic Board’s withdrawal of 196 students at her regular meeting on Friday, March 25, 2022.

If you are ready to pay, select “PAY NOW,” otherwise select “SAVE & EXIT.”
Finish the payment process.
Return to the website (Online Application Portal), log in, and fill out the Detailed Application Form (DAF)
Username should be your Application Number, and password should be your Surname.
Provide all necessary information.
Enter your O’level results here (s)
To save your completed information online, click “SUBMIT.”
Upload your passport (JPG, 120*120px, and 20kb).
To finish the application process, click “Submit.”
Print the Extensive Application Form (DAF).
