Nature of the FUTO Post UTME Form 2024/2025 Screening Exercise
The 2024/2025 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise shall be based on verified JAMB scores and WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB uploaded on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Important Notices For FUTO Post UTME Form 2024/2025
Your Department of choice should be guided by your JAMB Score.
- Depending on your JAMB Score, you may have to visit JAMB CAPS to change your programme of choice and apply to same at the Post-UTME application portal.
- Ensure that your details on JAMB CAPS match what you have on the Post-UTME application portal. For instance, ensure that you use your correct JAMB Registration number, date of birth, state of origin, etc. for application.
- You must enter a valid mobile number and e-mail address for further communications.
- You must upload your O’Level results on JAMB PORTAL, NOT LATER THAN August, 31, 2024.
- Make sure that you provide the appropriate scratch card for the verification of your O’Level results.
- Those who fail to register within the period WILL NOT be qualified for the Exercise.
- ONLY candidates who successfully submit applications online would be considered for admission.
- Application commences on August 1, 2024 and closes on August 31, 2024.
You do not need any intermediary, neither do you have to pay anybody for you to be given admission.
FOR DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES: In addition to all items under (7);
- Kindly ensure that your academic transcript reaches The Registrar, Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo state, NOT LATER THAN August 31, 2024.
- ANY candidate who fails to submit his/her academic transcript would not be considered for Admission.

Change their first decision Courses on the JAMB portal are as follows:
Agricultural Economics (AEC), Agricultural Extension (AEX), Animal Science & Technology (AST), Crop Science & Technology (CST), Soil Science & Technology (SST), and Agribusiness (AGB) candidates should convert their majors to “AGRICULTURE.”
Computer Engineering (COE) candidates should modify their major to “Cybersecurity.”
Telecommunications Engineering candidates should change their major to “Software Engineering.”
andidates that made it to FUTO supplementary admission list are advised to:
Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.
Print their original JAMB result slip(this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
